About

Csaba Vadász is a New York based biologist, interested in themes related to living organisms.  In the 20th century, he started with with film cameras, worked in dark room developing film and paper, and published black and white images.  At the turn of the millennium he devoted more time to digital photography.

He recently published a photo story-book for children “The Little Squirrel’s Breakfast” aimed to help learning to read his 5-year-old daughter. “The Little Squirrel’s Breakfast” is available at Apple’s iTunes Store (iPad, iBook 2 or later; iOS 5.0 or later), or in print at Blurb as a three-lingual (English-Spanish-Hungarian) book http://www.blurb.com/b/3773235-a-mokuska-reggelije.

This website shows images created primarily in Costa Rica, the Sonoran desert, the Chihuahuan desert, and the East Coast of the USA.

Some of the images presented here could be viewed recently at the “Wildlife to Wild Life” Photography Exhibit hosted by The Nyack Library (New York) and at the HKDPL exhibition area in Garnerville, New York. Some of the images can be purchased with frame (see below for information).

For all exhibited items acid free museum quality mounting materials were used. All photos have been printed by West Coast Imaging using Fuji SuperGloss paper for color, and Museo Silver Rag for black and white images. For framing Tru Vue anti-glare Museum Glass® or Tru Vue Conservation Clear Glass® was used for all exhibited items.
Prints are available in 24″x36″ size, or smaller, with optional mounting, matting, or as ready-to-hang Canvas Wraps, Metal Prints, Acrylic Face Mounts. For security, photographic prints are authenticated by signature, title, date, and “Seal of Authenticity” hologram on the back of the framed print. Authenticated prints in different sizes and on a variety of carriers such as color and B&W paper, canvas, acrylic, metal can also be ordered without framing by contacting the author. Digital files and smaller prints (4in x 6in or 8in x 10in) can also be purchased (add to cart or contact).

  1. Nice shots! It would be nice to know more about the individual pictures: date, location, name of the species on the picture.
